"...they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept"
-Song of Solomon 1:6

I quote the Shula-mite with a positive connotation, she was in the field working her butt off for her brothers with no regard.  I on the other hand, have been in the "field" working in my craft, on my craft, because of my craft, and loving it. It's been a minute since I've shared my journey with you, accept my apologies with appreciation that I have actually been feeding my children.   Let's see, The MAKEUP Show, my birthday, Celebrity Stylist Nadia Vassell's Salon Meet and Greet, photo shoots, weddings, Full Figure Fashion Week, named the official MUA of Eyani Couture, more weddings, moving-up ceremonies for my kiddies, to name a few.  Oh yes, I have been nominated for a 2 awards for my work from Black Street Magazine in the Beauty and Blogger categories (  In addition, I am now the Beauty and Style writer for both, and

"Go Shawty" I made those peacock shoe cuffs...

I have been a little busy, but I miss you guys.  I have been in the forefront for a minute, but you should now by now that I love to share with you what goes on behind the scenes.  Not the glamor behind the glamor, but the real nitty-gritty of why people do what they do creatively. I have to do better about being distant.  It's nice to be busy, I'd die if I had to be idle, but connecting on basic human levels is my driving force.  It's all connected to why I am even writing this in the first place, and what is leading me right back into the vineyard...

I have a bunch of things to give away that I've amassed in my travels.  Please, just leave a comment and holler back, no dissertations or full essays, just say hello.  You could get your hands on some hair products, sunglasses, jewelry, even perfume.  Holla if you hear me!!

  1. Hey, Tifini! I love reading about what you do because you love what you do!

  2. And I appreciate that you see the importance. Thank you Alan:)
